RESOLUTION<br />

NUMBER 1993-46<br />

At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of<br />

Boston, Erie County, New York , held at the Boston Town Hall, 8500<br />

Boston State <strong>Road</strong>, Boston, New York, on the 15th day of December,<br />

1993 at 7:30 o'clock in the evening Eastern Tim.e there were:<br />

Supervisor Kennedy presented the following Resolution and<br />

moved its adoption:<br />

WHEREAS, The Boston Free Library is a contracting<br />

library in the Buffalo and Erie County Library System, which is<br />

operated by the Boston Free Library Association through private<br />

donations and an operating budget recieved from the County of Erie;<br />

and<br />

WHEREAS, Edna M. Rogger has served the residents of the<br />

Town of Boston at the Boston Free Library for the past twenty-five<br />

years as the Librarian at the Library; and<br />

WHEREAS, As Librarian of the Boston Free Library, Mrs.<br />

Rogger has devoted her time to provide special.programs through the<br />

Boston Free Library such as the Zoomobile, summer reading programs<br />

and story hours; and<br />

WHEREAS, The Boston Library has experienced increases in<br />

circulation and now loans raore the 35,000 books, tapes, records and<br />

videos each year; and<br />
