REGULAR BOARD MEETING<br />

NOVEMBER 17, 1993<br />

TOWN HALL<br />

7:30 P.M.<br />

On the recommendation of Town Clerk Shenk, a motion was made by<br />

Councilman Wittraeyer and seconded by Councilman Wohlhueter to<br />

appoint Karen A. Ellis as Deputy Town Clerk, term to expire<br />

12/31/93 at a rate of $8.15/hr..<br />

five (5) Ayes Carried<br />

A raotion was made by Supervisor Kennedy and seconded by Councilman<br />

Flowers to appoint Karen A. Ellis as Deputy Registrar of Vital<br />

Statistics, term to expire 12/31/93, no salary.<br />

TOWN ATTORNEY REPORT<br />

Carried<br />

Delivered to the Supervisor and the Town Clerk the executed<br />

contract with the amendments to the refuse district with B.F.I..<br />

Reminded the people in attendance of his presentation to the Boston<br />

Chamber of Commerce on 11/18/93 on the formation of a Business<br />

District.<br />

COUNCILMEN REPORT<br />

Councilman Flowers announced that the Chamber of Commerce is<br />

currently working on some by-law changes and their dinner tomorrow<br />

will have Art Benson from the Route 219 Association as well as the<br />

Town Attorney.<br />

Councilman Flowers also attended the Insurance Committee meeting<br />

and noted their are several changes in the industry.<br />

Councilman Flowers announced the Southtowns Haz-Mat Team is working<br />

on a proposal to the Erie County Legislature to attain sorae of the<br />

new permit fee money that will soon be a revenue of the County.<br />

Councilman Flowers wishes everyone a happy Thanksgiving.<br />

Councilman Wittmeyer met with representatives of the three fire<br />

companies and updated their records with the benefit program.<br />

DEPUTY CODE ENFORCEHENT OFFICER REPORT<br />

A) Deputy Code Enforceraent Officer's monthly report for<br />

October 1993 received and on file in the Clerk's Office.<br />

TOWN ENGINEER REPORT<br />

A) Town Engineer's Monthly report for October 1993 received<br />

and on file in the Clerk's Office.<br />

ERIE COUNTY SHERIFF REPORT<br />

A) Erie County Sheriff's Report for October 1993 received<br />

and on file in the Clerk's office.<br />

Upon the request of Town Clerk Shenk, a motion was made by<br />

Supervisor Kennedy and seconded Councilman Flowers to allow the<br />

Town Clerk to give free copies to the newly elected Town Board<br />

members and Justice elect Maxwell to help assist in a smooth<br />

transition.<br />

A motion was made by Councilman Flowers and seconded by Supervisor<br />

Kennedy to adjourn the meeting at 8:28 P.M.<br />
