REGULAR BOARD HEETING<br />

NOVEMBER 17, 1993<br />

Present were Councilman Mark W, Flowers, Councilman Don A.<br />

Wohlhueter, Councilman David G. Zimmerman, Councilman Milton I.<br />

Wittmeyer, Supervisor Richard L. Kennedy, Town Attorney Michael F.<br />

Perley and Highway Superintendent Eugene E. Ruchalski.<br />

A raotion v;as made by Supervisor Kennedy and seconded by Councilman<br />

Wittmeyer to accept the correction and adoption of the minutes of<br />

the November 3, 1993 Regular Board Meeting.<br />

five (5) Ayes Carried<br />

A motion was made by Councilman Zimmerman and seconded by<br />

Coundilraan Flowers that the General Fund and Special District Bills<br />

on Abstract /llA dated Noveraber 17, 1993 in the amount of<br />

$58,229.07 be paid.<br />

five (5) Ayes Carried<br />

A raotion was made by Councilman Wittmeyer and seconded by<br />

Councilraan Ziramerman to approve the correction of Abstract #11<br />

dated November 3, 1993 as follows:<br />

Vouchers #855, 856, 857, 858, 859 (Election Inspectors)<br />

From: A1460.1 Elections, Per Serv. To: A1460.4 Election, Cont.<br />

A motion was made by Councilman Wittraeyer and seconded by<br />

Councilman Flowers that the Highway Bills on Abstract #11A<br />

dated November 17, 1993 in the amount of $10,040.51 be paid.<br />

Letter received from Philip M. DeGaetano, P.E. from the Bureau of<br />

Water Quality Management, NYSDEC, with regard to the Federal<br />

Stormwater Management Regulations adopted October 1, 1992, received<br />

and on file in the Clerk's office.<br />

Letter received from John Agostino, NYS Disaster Preparedness<br />

Commission, advising that a check will be forthcoming in the araount<br />

of $1,124.00 for emergency snow plowing assistance provided during<br />

the blizzard which occurred on March 13, 1993.<br />

Letter received from R. J. Russell, NYSDOT, acknowledging receipt<br />

of the Town of Boston's request to lower the maximum speed limit on<br />

Boston State <strong>Road</strong>. A traffic safety study will be conducted.<br />

Letter from Melvin Kase, Erie County Highway Department, requesting<br />

the Town of Boston sign and return the 1993-94 winter season<br />

invoices for payment of snow and ice control expenses.<br />

A motion was raade Councilman Wohlhueter and seconded by Councilman<br />

Wittmeyer to authorize the Supervisor to sign the 1993-94 winter<br />

season snow and ice control expenses contract.<br />

Letter received from Alan J. Laurita, Envirogas Inc. notifying the<br />

Town of their intent to Drill well: W. Harder #1, received and on<br />

file in the Clerk's office.<br />

A raotion was made by Supervisor Kennedy and seconded by Councilman<br />

Ziramerman to approve the following 1994 Final Budget Correction to<br />

the Refuse and Garbage District.<br />
