REGULAR BOARD MEETING JANUARY 6, 1993 TOHN HALL 7:30 P.M. Supervisor Kennedy will meet with the people from the West Seneca Development Disability Service to discuss their plans. Supervisor Kennedy with the Highuay Superintendent revieMed a serious situation which exists at the Hillcroft Dr. bridge. As has been pointed out to the County on numerous occasions the erosion and the possibility o£ losing the road. The last section of culvert that comes down Hillcroft Drive from the Boston State Road was exposed and ready to wash into the stream, the Highway Superintendent removed the forty-eight inch (48") culvert to prevent blocking under the bridge. The Highway Superintendent has been direct to take pictures of this situation to be send to the County. Some remedial action will have to be taken by the County to save this bridge. Supervisor Kennedy has a meeting scheduled with the Community Development people and respective Towns on Friday, January 8, 1993 to discuss the Rural Transit Van Program. Drivers have resigned and do not wish to drive due to lack of snow tires. TOHN CLERK'S REPORT A) Registrar of Vital Statistics report for December 1992 received and on file in the Town Clerk's Office. HIGHWAY SUPERINTENDENT REPORT Highway Superintendent Ruchalski requested authorization to attend the New York State Association of Town's Annual Training Seminar, New York City, February 13 - 17, 1993. Trees are being accepted at the Town Garage if the people want to bring them. The bids will be in three categories: (1) truck chassis, replacing 1972 Osh Gosh with and without trade, (2) Hydraulic plow and wing, (3) Sander/dumpbox. He asked that the Board Members review this memo and possibly discuss it in detail at the next Board Meeting. Town Attorney Perley advised that there is one abandoned car in the Town of Boston. The Hamburg police have done most of the paperwork perfecting the abandonment, they need a letter from the Town Board in order to complete that sale. The Town Attorney has prepared an outline for the Town Clerk to process y
