REGULAR BOARD MEETING<br />

OCTOBER 6, 1993<br />

RESOLUTION 1993 - 39 INTEGRATED WASTE SYSTEM - CONTRACT<br />

Letter received from Don Dank. Secretary, Patchin Volunteer Fire<br />

Company regardirig the scheduling of town supported or sponsored<br />

activities that are scheduled in conflict with other civic<br />

organizations, referred to Gerald O'Brien, Recreation Director.<br />

A motion was made by Councilman Wohlhueter and seconded by<br />

Councilman Ziramerman to authorize Supervisor Kennedy after<br />

consultation with the Town Engineer to sign-off on the contractors<br />

that have finished their work on the ambulance garage addition in<br />

conformance with their contract requirements<br />

five (5) Ayes Carried<br />

Supervisor Kennedy advised that there were four (4) submissions on<br />

the Lango <strong>Road</strong> v/ater requests for proposals which were very<br />

competitive:<br />

1) Klarberg Incorporated $12,140.00<br />

2) Sharco Enterprises 12,875.00<br />

3) Mooney Excavating 12,420.00<br />

4) Nichter Utility Construction Co Inc 16,383.00<br />

A motion was made by Councilman Flowers and seconded by Supervisor<br />

Kennedy to award bid for Lango <strong>Road</strong> Water extension to Mooney<br />

Excavating in the amount of $12,420.00. There have been some<br />

difficulties with Klarberg Incorporated in the past, and the water<br />

district has the opportunity to deduct Mr. Mooney's proportionate<br />

share of the extension of the waterline which is a potential<br />

immediate recoupment of his share as opposed to a deferred<br />

recoupment based upon construction sometirae in the future.<br />

A motion was raade by Councilman Wittmeyer and seconded by<br />

Supervisor Kennedy to reject Mr. Spors Application for Site Plan<br />

Review and refer it to Town Attorney Perley for further handling.<br />

SUPERVISOR REPORT<br />

A) Supervisor's Monthly Financial Report for September<br />

1993, received and on file in the Town Clerk's Office.<br />

A motion was made by Councilman Flowers and seconded by Supervisor<br />

Kennedy to grant permission to Lisa Rood's 4H Club to conduct an<br />

Election Day Baked Good Sale in the northern end of the hallway at<br />

the Town Hall.<br />

A motion was made by Supervisor Kennedy and seconded by Councilraan<br />

Wittmeyer to grant an exception to place a manufactured horae of Two<br />

thousarid twenty six square feet (2,026 sq. ft.) on lot #5 of the<br />

Boston Hills Estate. An additional two feet (2') has already been<br />

added to the existing lot line from lot #4 along the entire east<br />

side. Lots on both sides are already approved. This will not set<br />

a precedent. It does not interfere with the present set-backs on<br />

either side, front or rear.<br />
