REGULAR BOARD MEETING<br />

TOWN HALL<br />

7:30 P.M.<br />

A motion was raade by Supervisor Kennedy and seconded by Councilman<br />

Wittmeyer to approve the Boston Hills Estates Annual License to<br />

expire June 30, 1994.<br />

five (5) Ayes Carried<br />

A motion was made by Supervisor Kennedy and seconded by Councilraan<br />

Wohlhueter to approve the new lots #7, #9, and #22 at the Boston<br />

Hills Estates provided that they are in conforraance with the Code<br />

Enforcement Officers inspection, that he be directed to issue<br />

Temporary Certificates of Occupancy. When this area is complete<br />

there will be more work done on the roadway.<br />

John and Katherlne Falkides submitted photocopies of a petition<br />

with one hundred and seventy-two (172) signatures requesting that<br />

the Town Board take the following action:<br />

1) Reduce the Speed Limit on "Boston State <strong>Road</strong> in<br />

vicinity of Boston Hills Estates from 55 mph to 40 mph.<br />

2) Change order to close North entrance to Boston Hills<br />

Homes.<br />

3) Eliminate annual fee of $15.00 per home assessed against<br />

manufactured horaes in Boston.<br />

4) Elirainate the annual inspection of manufactured housing<br />

communities in Boston.<br />

Received and on file in the Clerk's Office.<br />

Supervisor Kennedy commented that there are a number of items in<br />

this petition and would like to give all the Board Merabers an<br />

opportunity to review what has been stated in this petition and to<br />

respond to them.<br />

Councilraan Wittmeyer commented ori the speed limit request, that an<br />

extensive study was done on the Boston State <strong>Road</strong> about five years<br />

ago to get the speed limit reduced to 45 mph frora town line to town<br />

line. We were denied that at that time. He suggested that maybe<br />

we should keep resubmitting this request until it is granted.<br />

It takes six months or raore to get a study completed.<br />

A raotion was raade by Supervisor Kennedy and seconded by Councilraan<br />

Flowers to submit an application to Erie County asking that the<br />

speed limit on the areas of Boston State <strong>Road</strong> that are 55 mph be<br />

reduced frora 55 mph to 45 mph.<br />

Supervisor Kennedy with regards to the other items in the petition<br />

the town has to study thera and raake a decision based on what their<br />

findings are. There has never been a problera nor would there be a<br />

problera with any of the fire corapanies getting down the roadway as<br />

it presently exists. These items will have to be thought out and<br />

action taken at a later date.<br />

A-motion was raade by Supervisor Kennedy and seconded by Councilman<br />

Flowers to renew the contract with Jean O'Connell & Associates,<br />

Grants Consultants to expire October 22, 1994 at the sum of $14,400<br />

payable $1,200 per month.<br />
