REGULAR BOARD MEETING<br />

OCTOBER 6, 1993<br />

TOWN HALL<br />

7:30 P.M.<br />

A motion was made by Councilman Wittmeyer and seconded by<br />

Councilman Zimmerman that the 1994 Water District #1 Preliminary<br />

Budget be approved as follows:<br />

Appropriations $101,000.00<br />

Less Estimated Revenue 0.00<br />

Less Unexpended Balance 70,000.00<br />

Amount to be Raised by Taxes 31,000.00<br />

five (5) Ayes Carried<br />

A motion was made by Councilraan Wohlhueter and seconded by<br />

Supervisor Kennedy that the 1994 Water District #2 Preliminary<br />

Budget be approved as follows:<br />

Appropriatioris $101,092.00<br />

Less Estimated Revenue 0.00<br />

Less Unexpended Balance 60,000.00<br />

Amount to be Raised by Taxes 41,092.00<br />

five (5) Ayes Carried<br />

A motion was made by Councilman Wohlhueter and seconded by<br />

Councilman Ziraraerraan to schedule a Public Hearing on November 3,<br />

1993 at 8:00 P.M. for the 1994 Preliminary Budget.<br />

Town Clerk Shenk provided the Board Merabers with sample legislation<br />

that may be instrumental in the processing of adopting Local Law<br />

#1.<br />

Town Attorney Perley delivered to the Board Members the starting<br />

point for procedures that might be used to impleraent Local Law #1<br />

if it is adopted.<br />

Supervisor Kennedy commented that Councilman Flowers has done an<br />

exemplary thing in offering this legislation. There are some<br />

problems and we all recognize that these will have to be addressed<br />

before we can pass this legislation. We will ask for more time<br />

possibly until the next raeeting, if we are not ready then, it will<br />

be tabled until November. We are definitely going forward with<br />

some kind of legislation.<br />

Councilman Flowers stated that the Town Attorney has presented a<br />

very good procedure and feels that this along with the<br />

documentation provided by the Town Clerk should be reviewed before<br />

any decisions are made.<br />

A raotion was raade by Councilraan Flowers and seconded by Councilraan<br />

Wittmeyer to table Local Law #1 until the October 20, 1993 Regular<br />

Meeting.<br />

Letter received from Kevin Hesse, 6657 Redwing Drive, requesting<br />

permission to open cut Redwing Drive to connect sewer line.<br />

Town Attorney Perley advised that a Public Improvement Permit<br />

Application has to go to the Town Engineer and the Highway<br />

Superintendent for review.<br />

Request for Annual License from John Falkides owner of Boston Hills<br />

Estates tabled from the September 15, 1993 Regular Meeting.<br />

Supervisor Kennedy stated that Mr & Mrs. Falkides have graciously<br />

consented to install the required barricade guard rail at the north<br />

entrance roadway to the Boston Hills Homes.<br />
