VWFIHIgHED BUSINESS
1) Recreation Director.
Supervisor Kennedy asked that the Town Board with the Town Attorney
go into an Executive Session with the Attorney representing Harcia
Latoslnski. If there is no need to reconvene, we can dispel this
matter in an executive session. If we have to reconvene, then we
will do so.
A motion was made at 9:10 P.M. by Supervisor Kennedy and seconded
by Councilman Wittraeyer that based upon Section 105 of the Open
Meetings Law, the statutory reason for going into Executive Session
is that this concerns a matter leading to the appointraent,
employment, promotion, demotion, discipline, suspension, dismissal
or removal of a particular person(s).
Councilman Flowers commented that he does not like this whole thing
and feels that, if an Executive Session is called it is going to
look like we are trying to hide soraething.
Supervisor Kennedy responded that this is a confidential item and
should be discussed by the parties in question. There has been
a grievance and ask for disciplinaiTr action on one to the town
officials. This should be discussed in private to protect the
integrity of both individuals.
