Supervisor Kennedy to grant a building permit to Loren J. & Dorothy<br />

A. Bowers, 8964 Boston State <strong>Road</strong> as per the recommendation of the<br />

Planning Board.<br />

A motion was made by Supervisor Kennedy and seconded by Councilman<br />

Flowers to support the request Erie County Sheriff Higgins to fill<br />

the vacancies that presently exist in the Sheriff's Office. Direct<br />

Town Clerk Shenk to send a letter to both County Legislator<br />

Marshall, County Executive Gorski, and Sheriff Higgins in support<br />

of this request.<br />

Supervisor Kennedy asked Town Attorney Perley when he drafts the<br />

contract to the Emergency Squad to make sure that he includes two<br />

(2) payments. I have negotiated what we feel is an equitable<br />

settlement with the Emergency Squad as far as the new budget is<br />

concerned. They would like to have payment in two (2)<br />

appropriations one on January 1, 1994 and the other before April<br />

30, 1994 this will allow them latitude because they have depleted<br />

their surplus.<br />

A motion was made by Councilman Wittmeyer and seconded by<br />

Councilraan Zimmerman to approve arrangements that were made with<br />

the Erie County Water Authority between the towns of Colden,<br />

Orchard Park, Boston, and Aurora where they all signed a document<br />

that indicate that Boston's responsibility in the new water project<br />

will be the construction of a tank in an area to be selected at an<br />
