Letter from Erie County Human Resources, Maureen Fitzpatrick<br />

thanking the Town for participating in the 1993 Summer Youth<br />

Program.<br />

TOWN CLERK REPORT<br />

A) Registrar of Vital Statistics Report for August 1993<br />

received and on file in the Clerk's Office.<br />

A motion was made by Councilraan Zimmerman and seconded by<br />

Councilman Wittraeyer to approve the following Polling Places for<br />

1993:<br />

DISTRICT #1 Boston Valley School<br />

DISTRICT #2 North Boston Fire Hall<br />

DISTRICT #3 Boston Town Hall<br />

DISTRICT #4 Catholic Church School<br />

DISTRICT #5 Boston Valley School<br />

DISTRICT #6 Boston Town Hall<br />

DISTRICT #7 North Boston Fire Hall<br />

five (5) Ayes Carried<br />

A motion was made by Supervisor Kennedy and seconded by Councilman<br />

Zimmerman authorizing the Highway Department to move the Electoral<br />

Voting Machines to their respective locatibris on Primary Day<br />

September 14th and on General Election Day November 2, 1993.<br />

HIGHWAY SUPERINTENDENT REPORT<br />

Highway Superintendent Ruchalski reported that the CHIPS Program is<br />

about 75% done. This year work was done on Hywood Dr and Appletree<br />

Rd. The main road program is done. There is still a lot of<br />

shoulder work to do on Appletree and Hywood. Extensive pipe work<br />

needs to be done on Hywood on the east side of Mayer <strong>Road</strong> end, also<br />

on the Zimmerman <strong>Road</strong> north side. This should be done by October<br />

weather permitting.<br />

Brush pickup will begin on Tuesday, September 7th after that the<br />

1st and 3rd Monday of September and October.<br />

TOWN ATTORNEY REPORT<br />

Town Attorney Perley had a two and a half hour meeting with the<br />

Economic Development Coramittee of the Boston Chamber of Commerce.<br />

This was a veiry informative meeting. He has been asked by the<br />

Chairman of the Committee to address them at a future date with<br />

regards to the possibility of forming a Business Iraprovement<br />

District under the General Municipal Law. If any member of the<br />

Town Board has an objection He will decline to speak because it<br />

does carry at least some color of official action from the Board.<br />

If there is no objection arrangements will be made with the<br />

Chairman of the Chamber to give that address.<br />

A deed has been filed for the turn-around on Mr. Bernardi's<br />

property on Willow Drive. Also, all of the deeds and easements on<br />

the Lango <strong>Road</strong> Water #1 Project have been filed, that project can<br />

now go forward at the convenience of the Board.<br />
