REGULAR BOARD MEETING

REQUESTS FROM FLOOR
Nancy Stetter, 5562 James Drive: What is being done with Greg and
Julie Dake's rezoning request? At the Public Hearing weren't they
in violation of the zoning law by conducting business? Have they
applied for a variance?
Supervisor Kennedy: What have they done?
Town Clerk Shenk: At this point Greg and
applied for a variance through ray office.
Julie Dake have not
Town Attorney Perley suggested that the Code Enforcement Officer go
to the Dake property.
Supervisor Kennedy: I would suggest that if they have not applied
for a variance, and I was under the impression that they had. I
also, have been questioned by raerabers of the community. Since they
have not done this, I will direct the Code Enforcement Officer to
serve the Dake's with a summons, since we have been waiting for his
application for a variance.
Letter received from Boston Hills Homes & Estates, Re: Anriual
License referred to the next Regular Board Meeting September 15,
1993.
Supervisor Kennedy commented that the Town Clerk has not been able
to locate any documentation showing that a different set of plans
have been approved by the Board other than the original plans
adopted in July of 1991.
A motion was made by Councilman Flowers arid seconded by Councilman
Zimmermari to grant the request submitted by Nadine G. Houghton,
Operations Officer, Evans National Bank to use the Town Hall
building as a backup site in case there is a disaster at the North
Boston office.

A motion was made by Councilman Wittraeyer and seconded by
Supervisor Kennedy to refer the Building Permit Application
submitted by Loren and Dorothy Bower, 8963 Boston State Road to the
Planning Board for review. Also, direct the Town Clerk to contact
Code Enforcement Officer Kramer to see if there is any additional
information with this application. If not the Code Enforcement
Officer should contact Mr. Bowers' prior to the Planriing Board
Meeting informing him that this application is incomplete and
advise him of what will be required when this application is
presented to the Planning Board for review.

Letter received from Margaret Herron, d/b/a Boston Deli, advising
of renewal application for off-premises beer license at 9375 Boston
State Road received and on file in the Town Clerk's office.
SUPERVISOR REPORT
A) Supervisor's Monthly Financial Report for August 1993
received and on file in the Clerk's Office.
Supervisor Kennedy received a comraunication from the Department of
Environraental Conservation acknowledging receipt of application for
suppleraental 1993 National Small Business Tree Planting Program.
The Town of Boston's award for five thousand ($5,000) has been
selected and forwarded to the SBA for final approval. The
calculated match and number of trees for the approved projects are
four thousand, one hundred and thirty-one dollars ($4,131) and
fifty-three (53) respectively.
