REGULAR BOARD HEETING<br />

JULY 21, 1993<br />

TOWN HALL<br />

7:30 P.M.<br />

John Marron: I am the person that sold the Koczur's that property,<br />

we purchased the house from John Sadovy. When we purchased the<br />

house those are the letters that were given us at the time.<br />

Supervisor Kennedy asked that those letters be given to the Town<br />

Attorney for his file.<br />

RESOLUTION 1993 - 30 PURSUE LEGAL CLAIM ACTION TO<br />

DEANNA DRIVE SPUR<br />

Ronald Yormick: Would it be possible for the residents of Deanna<br />

Drive to be kept up on this situation.<br />

Supervisor Kennedy: Absolutely. Any correspondence that relate to<br />

proper ownership of the roadway I will certainly make sure that<br />

they are conveyed to you.<br />

Kenneth Koczur, 6390 Deanna Drive: Can we get the holes that are<br />

left from the fence filled in so that none of the little children<br />

on the street can fall in a break their leg.<br />

Town Attorney Perley: We can ask the Highway Department can fill<br />

in the holes where the fence posts were.<br />

Supervisor Kennedy: Will direct the Highway Superintendent to fill<br />

the fence post holes tomorrow.<br />

Letter received from Marian Schiralli, 6410 Deanna Drive,<br />

reiterating a conversation between her and John Falkides on June<br />

19, 1993, in which Mr. Falkides made some rather negative remarks<br />

about the Town of Boston and its people, on file in the Town<br />

Clerk's office.<br />

John Falkides: In response to Ms. Schiralli's letter. My wife and<br />

I have invested in this town well over one million ($1,000,000)<br />

dollars. Do you really think that we want anything bad to happen<br />

to this town?<br />

A motion was made by Councilman Wittmeyer and seconded by<br />

Councilman Zimmerman to approve the change order for the Ambulance<br />

Garage from Feddington-Allen, Inc. for putting curbing, a ramp and<br />

the necessary handrails that are needed for handicap accessibility.<br />

We have deleted the landscaping and aire going to do that with our<br />

own force. The change order is three thousand, twenty-five<br />

($3,025.00).<br />

A raotion was made by Councilman Wohlhueter and seconded by<br />

Councilman Wittmeyer to approve the deletions, additions and<br />

changes of staffing for the Boston Summer Recreation Program as<br />

recomraended by Gerald O'Brien, Recreation Director as follows:<br />
