A motion was made by Supervisor Kennedy and seconded by Councilnan Wohlhueter to grant permission to Jean Kleis, Assessment Clerk to attend an instructional computer course to be given at Erie Community College South on Friday, June 18, 1993 from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. three (3) Ayes RESOLUTION 1993 - 22 SUPERVISOR REPORT LANGO ROAD EXTENSION 01 Carried RESOLUTION 1993 - 23 CATHERINE ELIZABETH SIEMAN lOOTH BIRTHDAY JUNE 25, 1993 TOWN CLERK REPORT Received a phone call and letter from Diane Welch, Personnel Manager, Mercy Home Care, Re: Mercy Home Care is seeking to hire individual who would be interested in caring for people who are ill or disabled and in need of help. More information will be forthcoming, letter on file in the Clerks Office. A motion was made by Supervisor Kennedy and seconded by Councilman Wohlhueter to grant permission to Elizabeth Slomka to use the Lion's Shelter on Saturday, August 7, 1993 for celebration of' mothers 90th birthday. A insurance certificate will be provided if alcohol is to be served. three (3) Ayes TOHN ATTORNEY REPORT Carried Town Attorney Perley has been in discussion with Adelphia Cable concerning the lines that have been installed on Rockwood Road and has gone up there and inspected it and it appears that some of the lines have been raised. He will stay in touch with the residents in that area as well as Councilman Zimmerman. If there are still problems after they have made whatever corrections they can make we will have a meeting up there with the neighbors and see what we can do to resolve this problem. The major difficulty is that some of the poles are pretty widely set creating a sag in the lines. RESOLUTION 1993 - 24 GEORGE HIGHWAY COUNCILMEN REPORT DRIVE DEDICATED TOWN Councilman Flowers expressed condolences to Councilman Wittmeyer and Councilman Zimmerman on the passing of their brother and uncle respectively. Councilman Flowers attended the Southtowns Haz/Mat Meeting they are working on the budget for 1994. The assessment for the town will remain $1,945.00 at this time. Councilman Flowers has been working on finding parts for the street light standards and has attained a price list which he will forward to Supervisor Kennedy. Councilman Wohlhueter expressed his condolences to Councilman Wittmeyer, Councilman Zimmerman and also to Bookkeeper Jean Kleis on the passing of their brother, uncle and father respectively. 297 J J . -:rry^yyyy
