REGULAR BOARD HEETING
JUNE 2, 1993
TOWN HALL
7:30 P.M.
Councilman Flowers spoke with residents on Haag Road and Mr. Haag,
Mrs. Jensen and Mrs DiCarlo are very thankful that they are getting
Cable television and wish to thank everyone who had anything to do
with this.
Couricilman Wohlhueter with regards to the refrigerator disposal
problem we discussed at the last meeting I have received calls from
two appliance dealers who will remove the freon units. He will be
consulting with Mr. Balbierz from BFI.
Councilman Wohlhueter offered his compliraents to the Boston Town
Band that performed at the Memorial Day Service, to the people who
got this going, to Herb Klein, Town Historian Jim Jehle, Rev. Gary
Burdick and his son Chris Burdick.
Councilman Zimmerman commented on the Rockwood Road Cable service
and thanked Town Attorney Perley for his help following this up.
And to thank Hr. Perley for the follow-up letter to Adelphia Cable
and getting the town franchise check of almost a thousand dollars.
Councilman Wittmeyer received a request from Councilman Flowers
requesting a speed reduction to 30 mph on Zenner Road. This is a
county road currently having a 55 mph speed limit. Zenner Road is
seventeen (17') feet wide and is deteriorated badly and is filled
with holes, broken pavement and no shoulders. Combined with the
hilly, winding nature of the road it is no longer worthy of the 50
mph speed limit.
This letter will be referred to the Traffic Safety Committee and
will be reported back to the Town Board.
A motion v/as made by Councilman Wittmeyer and seconded by
Councilman Zimmerraan to direct the Highway Superintendent put a
"Children at Play" sign at the entrance to the North Boston
playground on Headow Drive.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Town Clerk Shenk thanked the Town Board for allowing Deputy Town
Clerk O'Neill and himself to attend the DEC Licensing Seminar as
there are many changes.
A motion was made by Councilman Flowers and seconded by Councilraan
Zimmerman to adjourn this meeting at 9:08 P.H.
