REGULAR BOARD MEETING<br />

JUNE 2, 1993<br />

TOWN HALL<br />

7:3C P.M.<br />

Present were Councilman Mark W. Flowers, Councilman Don A.<br />

Wohlhueter,, Councilman David G. Zimmerman, Councilman Milton I.<br />

Wittmeyer, Supervisor Richard L. Kennedy, Town Attorney Michael F.<br />

Perley, and Superintendent of Highways Eugene E. Ruchalski.<br />

A motion was made by Councilman Wittmeyer and seconded by<br />

Councilman Flowers to accept the adoption and correction of the<br />

minutes of the May 19, 1993 Regular Monthly Meeting.<br />

A motion was made by Councilraan Wohlhueter and seconded by<br />

Councilman Zimmerman that General Fund and Special District Bills<br />

on Abstract #6 dated June 2, 1993 in the amount of $47,796.18 be<br />

paid.<br />

A raotion was made by Councilman wittmeyer and seconded by<br />

Supervisor Kennedy that the Highway Bills on Abstract #6 dated June<br />

2, 1993 in the amount of $4,049.46 be paid.<br />

A motion was made by Supervisor Kennedy and seconded by Councilraan<br />

Flowers to accept the Town Clerk's Monthly Report for May 1993.<br />

Letter was received frOm Richard Steer, Franchise Accountant,<br />

Adelphia Cable with check in the amount of $999.54 representing a<br />

deduction taken in error for Special Franchises.<br />

Town Attorney Perley commented that at Councilman Zimmerman's<br />

direction when we negotiated with Adelphia Cable we insisted upon<br />

a net Franchise Fee. We have been successful in receiving this<br />

year an additional $1,600.00.<br />

Letter received from BFI Waste Systems requesting an exemption from<br />

the vehicle weight restriction of four (4) ton placed on <strong>Dunn</strong> <strong>Road</strong>.<br />

RESOLUTION 1993 - 20 B.F.I. WEIGHT EXEMPTION DUNN ROAD<br />

Letter received from John R. Finster, P.E., Erie County Deparrnent<br />

of Health - approval of application for Szalay Subdivision on file<br />

in the Town Clerk's Office.<br />

Letter from John Gugino, Erie County Dept. of Public Works, Highway<br />

Division regarding Speed Limit Reductions on the Town of Boston<br />

Subdivision <strong>Road</strong>s. Acknowledged receipt of Resolution for speed<br />

limit reduction. Town Attorney Perley is working on the<br />

descriptions and the TEIO forms.<br />

A motion was made by Supervisor Kennedy and seconded by Councilman<br />

Wittmeyer directing Highway Superintendent Ruchalski to place a 35<br />

MPH speed limit sign on Fairlane Drive.<br />

Resolution from the Town of Colden - D.W.I, received and on file ir.<br />

the Clerk's Office.<br />

Supervisor Kennedy recognized a group of students from Hamburg High<br />

School in attendance observing Town Government.<br />
