RESOLUTION<br />

NUMBER 1993-20<br />

At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of<br />

Boston, Erie County, New York , held at the Boston Town Hall, 8500<br />

Boston State <strong>Road</strong>, Boston, New York, on the 2nd day of June, 1993<br />

at 7:30 o'clock in the evening Eastern Time there were:<br />

supervisor Kennedy presented the following Resolution and<br />

moved its adoption:<br />

WHEREAS: The Town Board of the Town of Boston adopted<br />

Resolution Number 1993-19 at its regular meeting on May 19, 1993;<br />

and<br />

WHEREAS: The said Resolution established a four (4) ton<br />

weight limit on <strong>Dunn</strong> <strong>Road</strong> in the Town of Boston, New York; and<br />

WHEREAS: Browning - Ferris Industries (BFI) has a<br />

contract with the Town of Boston for the collection of residential<br />

solid waste; and<br />

WHEREAS: The contract between the Town of Boston and BFI<br />

requires BFI to collect residential solid waste on <strong>Dunn</strong> <strong>Road</strong> in the<br />

Town of Boston; and<br />

WHEREAS: Certain trucks used by BFI to collect<br />

residential solid waste exceed four (4) tons in weight; and<br />

WHEREAS: The Resolution adopted by the Town of Boston<br />

allows the Town Board to grant certain exemptions for certain<br />

vehicles upon receipt of and application therefor; and<br />

WHEREAS: BFI has applied for an exemption from the four<br />

(4) ton weight restriction for vehicles used in the collection of<br />

residential solid waste on <strong>Dunn</strong> <strong>Road</strong> in the Town of Boston.<br />
