TOWN HALL<br />

7:30 P.M.<br />

Letter received from Francis J. Pordum, State Assembly regarding<br />

NYSDOT Funding situation received and filed in the Clerk's<br />

office.<br />

Letters received from Francis J. Pordum, State Assembly and<br />

regarding Service Award Programs for Independent Emergency Squad<br />

Hembers received and on file in the Clerk's office.<br />

Councilman Wittmeyer received and read a letter from Senator<br />

Dale Volker regarding Service Award Programs for Independent<br />

Emergency Squad Hembers.<br />

Councilman Wittmeyer requested that copies of both letters be<br />

sent to the Emergericy Squad by the Towri Clerk.<br />

Letter received from Erie Courity Legislature Frederick J.<br />

Harshall re: Food distribution to be held on Thursday, April 22,<br />

1993 beginning at 9:00 A.H.<br />

Resolution received from the Town of Evans Re: DWI processing<br />

and trial, received and filed in the Clerk's office.<br />

N.Y. Telephone Protest of Special Franchise Assessment for 1993<br />

Tax Roll received and on file in the Clerk's office.<br />

Received a certified letter from Integrated Waste Systems, Inc.<br />

with a questionnaire askirig the Town Board to consider a well<br />

designed, professionally operated, state-of-the-art landfill.<br />

The Town Board after hearing the questions and answers as<br />

outlined by Town Attorney Perley, directed Town Clerk Shenk to<br />

respond to Integrated Waste System's questionnaire by answering<br />

"no" to all the questions asked. Stating that our Zoning Law<br />

does not permit the construction of landfills and we do not wish<br />

to change this.<br />

REQUESTS FROM THE FLOOR<br />

Kevin Hess, Boston State Rd.: Regarding drainage problem on my<br />

property on Redwing Drive. I met with Supervisor Kennedy,<br />

Councilman Wittmeyer and Highway Superintendent Ruchalski.<br />

Supervisor Kennedy stated that the Town Engineer will be doing<br />

some research to clarify what the possibilities are and if the<br />

people will be receptive to something being done. Whether we<br />

can acquire easements on the property that is affected so that<br />

we can take that drainage water down as far as the State <strong>Road</strong>.<br />

Something will be done.<br />

At the request of Recreation Director Gerald O'Brien the Friday<br />

Night Youth Program this year has initiated a dance program<br />

under the direction of Jennifer Schunk. Ms. Schunk and eleven<br />

girls from the program put on a ten minute demonstration of line<br />

dancing.<br />

Sealed Bids for transportation via yellow bus for the Town of<br />

Boston Summer Recreation and Alpine Ski Programs were opened on<br />

March 10, 1993:<br />
