He made a brilliant catch of a pass in the end zone that went 31 yards for a touchdown. There were three Miner defensive men on Pease when he made the tremendous effort. In the past two ball games John made some great catches and established himself as one of the fine pass catchers in the Western Athletic Conference. John Stipech won honors as the top lineman because of his relentless pursuit of the Miner passers. Stipech has been especially effective in the past two ball games with great defensive plays. He had a good game against Arizona State in the Utes' 16-3 win. One-Stop-Service 320 East 4th South lobby before the game, either in person or by telephone.
