We are also considering a joint project to be established on collecting, preservation and study of plant genetic resources with C.I.S. countries, since former experiment stations of the Institute has become National Institutes on plant genetic resources. Development of the programmes dedicated to conservation and research of plant diversity remains the highest priority. In the modern world this problem can be solved only on the basis of large-scale international cooperation. Appendix 2
