<strong>Detroit</strong> Zight Guards-Armory in Fire-<br />

mens, s. w. corner Jefferson ave. and Ran-<br />

dolph st. This Company was organized<br />

on the 16th of November, 1555. On the<br />

31st of October, 1859, the Company was<br />

divided, and two companies, A. and B.<br />

were organized, but on the 9th day of Jan-<br />

uary, 1860, the Guard were reorganized as<br />

one Company. Nany of its members<br />

served with distinction durinz the late<br />

war. The Company has now on ~ts rc 111s<br />

over 80 active members, and holds its regular<br />

montllly meeting on the first Monday<br />

of' each month, and ~ts drills on Monday<br />

and Thursday evenings of each week.<br />
