Detroit Zight Guards-Armory in Fire-
mens, s. w. corner Jefferson ave. and Ran-
dolph st. This Company was organized
on the 16th of November, 1555. On the
31st of October, 1859, the Company was
divided, and two companies, A. and B.
were organized, but on the 9th day of Jan-
uary, 1860, the Guard were reorganized as
one Company. Nany of its members
served with distinction durinz the late
war. The Company has now on ~ts rc 111s
over 80 active members, and holds its regular
montllly meeting on the first Monday
of' each month, and ~ts drills on Monday
and Thursday evenings of each week.
