Mike’s Auto Body Opens New Show Room
When he was starting out in
business Mike Jensen rented a garage
in the New Market area where he
specialized in vehicle small repairs
and Corvette restorations. Finding
that he needed a bigger facility,
he rented at Bogley Chevrolet in
Thurmont for five years before
purchasing the building on Catoctin
Furnace Road in Thurmont to
expand again. Mr. Jensen’s recent
expansion of his customer service
area comes just in time for his 20th
Anniversary in business which he
will celebrate in November.
Now enjoying the new diamond
plate-accented show room space,
Mike’s Auto Body’s Parts Manager,
Chris Dumas said, “We didn’t realize
how tight we were with three people
in the office until we had a bigger
office.” He showed how small the
previous office had been. Office
Manager, Angie Ridenour and
General Manager, Michael Klein,
who shared that space, agreed. Mr.
Jensen noted that when he started
out, his two employees fit in the space.
Now with 13, it made sense to expand.
Mike’s Auto Body has a
computerized measuring system
with a spot welder which duplicates
factory welding specifications and
will repair frame damage back
to factory specifications within
one millimeter. While known for
Corvette repairs and restoration,
Mr. Jensen has expanded over the
years to service all vehicles that have
been involved in an accident for
collision repair as well as all makes
and models of antiques, classics
and muscle cars for restoration.
Mr. Jensen said, “We take care of
the whole repair with personalized
service. It’s real important to us.”
He emphasizes customer service
because he wants customers to
return. He says, “We’re with the
customer from the beginning of the job
until after the repair is complete with
customer service inquiries.” This level
of service helped rank Mike’s Auto
Body in the top 10% of 6,000 shops

Timeless Trends Boutique Opens in Old Creager Furniture Store Building
Many have wondered what was
to come of the old Creager Furniture
Building which is located at 21 East
Main Street in Thurmont. Well, the
answer is out and Timeless Trends
Boutique is in. The LeRoche family
bought the building about two years
ago when the building had fallen
into disarray due to a few years of
being vacant. With a leaky roof
and water damage throughout the
building, the LeRoche family went to

Knowing about the high standard
of value and customer service that the
Creager family established, Virginia
LeRoche knew she wanted to keep that
tradition alive.
As a child, Virginia LeRoche use
to accompany her aunt to yard sales,
auctions and antique stores. With years
of learning the value of someone else’s
stuff, Virginia always wanted to open a
store of her own.
With her mother’s illness and
subsequent passing, Virginia had taken
a leave of absence from her job and
found that it was the right time to bring
her dream to a reality. Timeless Trends
Boutique is a touch of class with a little
vintage and a modern twist.
The premise behind the store is to
offer that “last little touch to finish a
room”, Virginia said. Her goal is to
