Bareiss Sporting
Backbone exercises, stretching, strengthening of the
thigh, stomach and back muscles as well as exercises
for problem zones are all part of the programme, as
are Aqua Jogging, different programmes for relaxation
and Nordic Walking. Furthermore, our holiday-team is
delighted to organize or give you information about jogging,
paragliding, climbing-courses, surfing etc. within
the surroundings.
Fitness-Studio
Our fully air-conditioned fitness room, equipped with
state-of-the-art devices, offers numerous training opportunities
for both strength and fitness: cardio equipment
with TV and media connections, a weight bench and a
kinesis system, certified for rehabilitation and medical
exercises.
Water Gymnastics
Everything is easy in the water: our water gymnastics
takes place under expert guidance in the saltwater
pool from 8.00 a.m. on Mondays to Saturdays.
Tennis Courts
Our own outdoor tennis court with floodlights offers an
artificial surface with quartz sand that is easy on the
joints. We would be glad to arrange training courses
or tennis partners. We can book indoor courts with
carpeted surfaces at the Baiersbronn Tennis Centre a
few minutes away from the hotel by car.

Our popular boules and curling take place here daily.
Walking
As part of the “Baiersbronner Wanderhimmel”, the
forest community of Baiersbronn – which covers 190
km², and stretches from Schönmünzach in the Murg
Valley (460 above sea level) upwards to the Black Forest
Pass (1,100 above sea level) – offers hikers 550
km of the most beautiful trails. The individual districts
are actively involved in the concept with themed paths
that provide hikers with detailed information on the
region’s history, nature and geology. Whereby the concept
exploits off-road trails along the forest floor and
beautiful views of the Black Forest.

Nordic Walking
AActive walking with sticks is an extremely effective
alternative to classic walking. Nordic walking combines
the movement of the legs with the diagonal movement
of the arms. Our expert trainers show you the right
technique because one can only exploit to the full the
positive effect of this proven endurance sport if one uses
correct technique.
Borrowing city,
mountain and e-bikes
Our fleet of city, mountain and e-bikes is available
to you free-of-charge. Cycle the beautiful Black Forest
area around the Bareiss with its hills and valleys,
either with one of our group leaders or on your own.
The Reception has suggestions for bike tours ready.
We would be glad to provide you with cycling equipment
for adults and children. Children’s bikes are
available with or without training wheels and with
children’s seats.
Observing wildlife and
accompanying the hunt
The Bareiss Hunt is located adjacent to the hotel
on the opposite side of the Murg in the heart of the
northern Black Forest red deer area. You can reach
the raised hides, at altitudes of between 600 and 900
meters, via well prepared and easily accessible paths.

Angling and Fly Fishing
The Murg, with abundant fish, and the hotel‘s own fishing
ground on the Ellbach are not the only locations
that offer. Our Reception staff will be delighted to
provide you with more details and let you know about
the equipment you can borrow from us. Please ask for
our angling guidelines.
Cross-Country Skiing
and Winter Fun
Apart from the 11 cross-country ski runs in the Baiersbronn
district up to the Schwarzwaldhochstraße, the
wonderful Besenfeld plateau is a further attraction. Our
hotel shuttle bus will take you to the best starting points,
accompanied by a skiing instructor if you wish. More
winter fun highlights are curling on the hotel’s own rink,
horse-drawn sleigh rides and long walks in the snow.
