Your Bareiss Holiday includes per Person:
LIVING
Experience your stay here as you wish: in modern
Black Forest style or in cottage style. In the garden
wing, on the penthouse floor or in the Black Forest
cottage. In a single room, a double room, a family
appartment. Or in one of our suites.
BAREISS POOL AND SAUNA ENVIRONMENT
The bathing area consists of nine different pools: the
freshwater pool (29°C), the massage whirlpool (36°C),
the children’s paddling pool (32°C), the indoor seawater
pool (32°C), the outdoor seawater pool (32°C)
and, from April to October, the outdoor freshwater pool
(25°C) and our natural pond at the heart of the unique
garden lounger area with its water lily pond and rock
waterfall. Our comprehensive range of saunas is also
available for you: the Finnish sauna (85°C and 95°C),
steam sauna, bio-sauna (55°C), whirlpool, Kneipp water
therapy pools, plunge pools, ice fountain, spa showers,
quiet room, open-air area and two outdoor whirlpools at
32°C and 36°C.
SPORTING BAREISS
You want to keep fit? Then you’ve come to the right
place: water gymnastics on Mondays to Saturdays. Our
sport and gymnastic range from Mondays to Fridays.
Nordic walking with expert trainers. Or in our fitness
room using cardio equipment with TV and media connections.
Our city, mountain and e-bikes can be borrowed
free-of-charge.
HOLIDAY AND ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAMME
We offer guided hikes, tours of the building, fashion and
jewellery shows, readings, classical concerts and daily
live music throughout the year. And the range offered by
the House of Games is also available to you. We charge
a fee to cover costs for the following holiday offers: wine
tastings, excursions in our old-timer, golf training, horsedrawn
sleigh rides, ski teacher, tennis training.
OUR UNIQUE FOREST PARK
Enjoy the fresh air of the Black Forest in our newly
designed Forest Park, which is one of the most beautiful
in central Europe and offers the following facilities:
lounger area, trout pond, educational forest trail, pavilion,
barefoot path, Kneipp waterway, rock waterfall, old
mill with waterwheel, duck house, summer and winter
curling alleys, sport and gymnastics meadow.
FOR OUR YOUNG AND YOUNGEST GUESTS

Children in the age groups Mini (3 – 6), Maxi (7 – 11)
and Teenies (from 12) are supervised throughout the
year in the Villas Kunterbunt and Sternenstaub, with a
circus wagon, tree house, petting zoo, vegetable and
herb garden, days in the House of Games for youths,
pirate adventure water playground, the Lakota Ranch.

The Culinary Day
THE EXCLUSIVE HALF-BOARD
It is said that one does not measure life by the number
of pleasures but by their intensity. This plays no role at
all for the Bareiss. Both the number and intensity of the
pleasures are taken to extremes here. So enjoy it, our
Culinary Day – from early in the morning until late at
night.
THE POOL BREAKFAST FOR EARLY RISERS
Enjoy the first cup of coffee or a freshly pressed orange
juice from 7.00 a.m. Read a newspaper in peace, eat a
delicious fruit quark after a couple of refreshing lengths
of the pool – a long, beautiful day at the Bareiss could
not get off to a better start!
THE BREAKFAST AND BRUNCH BUFFET
The breakfast and brunch buffet at the Bareiss is legendary.
The unique Bareiss breakfast, consisting of a bread
and roll buffet and sweet delicacies. The large choice of
ham and sausage and roast specialities, as well as the
sumptuous buffet with all its uncountable sweet and
savoury, warm and cold treasures, with coffee and tea
specialities from all over the world. And every day the
children look forward to the children’s buffet, from which
they can easily help themselves.
THE BAREISS CAKE BUFFET
The real Black Forest Gateau is, of course, also available
at the cake buffet. But that’s not all – there is a
large selection, like everywhere else at the Bareiss:
delicate fruit tarts, the speciality cakes freshly baked
daily, and the delicious Bareiss Cake leave nothing to
be desired. Everything is from our own patisserie and
most cakes are still made using the original recipes of
the hotel’s founder, Hermine Bareiss.
THE EVENING MEAL – FOR EPICURES
The evening meal is served in one of our five hotel
guest restaurants (Hubertusstube, Biedermeierzimmer,
Hermine-Bareiss-Stube, Schwarzwaldstube and Winter
Garden). A large salad buffet is followed by the evening
menu recommendation by our Kitchen Director Oliver
Ruthardt, whose individual courses can be exchanged
with our other dishes and the Bareiss Classics. We offer
a 5-course fitness menu with a maximum of 1,000 calories
for the weight-conscious epicure – as long as one
does not weaken to the temptations of the cheese buffet
(available every evening) or the warm/cold dessert buffet
on Tuesday evenings. The large Bareiss Gourmet Menu
is available every Saturday evening, with seven courses
and – a tradition that goes all the way back to Hermine
Bareiss – with a rose for every lady in the restaurant.
THE MIDNIGHT SNACK
The owls amongst our guests traditionally meet at the
bar. So this is where we serve our midnight snacks:
potatoes with herb quark and salmon, goulash soup,
Swabian ravioli.
