provides the industry with additi<strong>on</strong>al informati<strong>on</strong> <strong>on</strong> the feasibility and<br />

viability of private l<strong>on</strong>g term care insurance coverage.<br />

L<strong>on</strong>g term care may well be the major health policy issue in the coming<br />

decades. The industry and individual companies are exploring the problems and<br />

seeking soluti<strong>on</strong>s. Both government and private resources are required to meet<br />
