Long-Term Goal- CONCERN will expand its array of services to ensure the long-term health of the Maryland
Regional Office.
Annual Goals
1. The Maryland Regional Office will complete and implement a program that will address job
readiness and career development utilizing the Ansell-Casey Life Skills Assessment Tool. Grant
opportunities will be explored simultaneously in an attempt to identify potential funding sources for
a position to implement the program.

2. The Maryland Regional Office will actively engage certified foster parents in recruiting and
approving new foster parents.

3. The Maryland Regional Office will explore providing a parenting program utilizing SPIN as a
component of Family Preservation for identified counties in the state.

Trainer/individuals trained in SPIN Video Home Training

4. The Maryland Regional Office will explore Human Trafficking as it relates to the youth that
CONCERN provides therapeutic services or potentially could provide therapeutic services. The
Maryland Regional Office will provide training to the staff and foster parents so that CONCERN
will be able to therapeutically respond to these youth’s needs.
