Major Practical:<br />

In all, three practicals will be asked from the prescribed syllabus. Candidate will be asked to<br />

choose any two out of these. The Practical examiner will ask the candidate to perform any one<br />

practical out of the two chosen by him. 10 Marks<br />

Minor Practical:<br />

In all, three practicals will be asked from the prescribed syllabus. Candidate will be asked to<br />

choose any two out of these. The Practical examiner will ask the candidate to perform any one<br />

practical out of the two chosen by him. 5 Marks<br />

For question paper carrying 50 marks (practical) each<br />

( except those specified at **).<br />

Semester-II<br />

Time: 3 hrs Maximum Marks: 50<br />

Distribution of marks will be as follows:<br />

(i) Practical note book/sessional work/visits/project work. 10 Marks<br />

(ii) Viva Voice 5 Marks<br />

(iii) Actual Performance 35 Marks<br />

Structure of Question Paper<br />

The question paper will consist of five parts.<br />

1. Drawing instruments and their uses. 5 marks<br />

2. Line lettering & dimensions. 15 marks<br />

3. Projection of planes & solids. 20 marks<br />

4. Sessional work: Students will show at least 15 articles 15 marks<br />

(5 from each topic) which have been designed by him<br />

during the whole year.<br />

5. Project work. 10 marks<br />

(b) MECHANICAL SERVICING ( GENL.)<br />
