3. In Semester I, if there is only theory paper in any of the elective subject, the total marks<br />
for that paper will be 45 (excluding 20 Marks of CCE) and if there is only practical<br />
paper in any of the elective subjects, the total marks for that paper will be 65 and in<br />
semester II if there is only theory paper in any of the elective subject, the total marks<br />
for that paper will be 65 (excluding 30[ Marks of CCE) and if there is only<br />
practical paper in any of the elective subjects, the total marks for that paper will be 95.<br />
4. Punjab <strong>School</strong> Education Board Regulations for <strong>Senior</strong> <strong>Secondary</strong> Examination are also<br />
applicable to <strong>voc</strong>ational stream.<br />
5. The Board reserves the right to amend syllabus courses and/or scheme of studies as<br />
and when it considers necessary.<br />
B. GENERAL FOUNDATION COURSE<br />

Time: 2:30 hrs Theory Marks: 30<br />
Internal Assessment: 10<br />
Total Marks: 40<br />
Structure of Question Paper<br />
The question paper will comprise of two parts (Part-I and Part-II). The questions will be evenly<br />
distributed from the prescribed syllabus.<br />
Part-I will consist of six objective type questions carrying 1 mark each. All questions are<br />
compulsory to attempt. The answer of each question should not exceed more than one sentence.<br />
Part-II will consist of seven questions carrying 6 marks each. Candidate will attempt any four<br />
questions out of these. A question may have two or more parts. The answer of each question should<br />
not be more than two pages of the answer sheet.<br />

a. Entrepreneurship Career Orientation<br />
Alternative career options under <strong>voc</strong>ational stream, wage employment, self employment etc. :<br />
Dynamics of entrepreneurship; Importance and Relevance of entrepreneurship career;<br />
characteristics, role & reward of an entrepreneur.<br />
b. Entrepreneurial Values<br />
Entrepreneurial value orientation through activities; Innovativeness; Independence; improved<br />
performance; Respect for work.<br />
c. Entrepreneurial Attitude<br />
Concept & significance of different entrepreneurial Atitudes; use imagination/intuition; take<br />
moderate risk; enjoy freedom of expression and action; look for economic opportunities; find<br />
satisfaction from successful completion of tasks; Believe that they can change the<br />
environment; Take initiative; Analyze situation; & plan action; Involve in work, activity.<br />
d. Behavioural Competencies<br />
Innovative & risk taking; tolerance to ambiguities; problem solving; persistence;<br />
standard/quality of work performance; information seeking; systematic planning; activities.<br />

Data collection about self; introduction to need system & motivational pattern of<br />
