1. The item Non Alloy Steel Melting Scrap will be allowed as per the definition given in Section XV of<br />

Customs Tariff.2. The above norms are applicable only if the export product(s) is manufactured through<br />

Gas/Coal based sponge iron-Electric Arc Furnace/ Induction Furnace route using iron ore as the basic raw<br />

material<br />

3.The item at Sl. No.(6) would not be allowed If export product(s) are manufactured through gas based<br />

sponge iron route and the items at Sr. No.(3) (4) & (5) would not be allowed if export product(s) are<br />

manufactured through coal based sponge iron route<br />

4. In case of export product(s) manufactured through induction furnace route, the item at Sr.No.(7)will<br />

not be allowed.5. In case of continuous cast billtes/blooms/slabs produced through continuous casting<br />

route, rolling mill rolls and Tungsten carbiderolls, item at Sl.No.(9) will not be allowed. Similarly, against<br />

export of rolled blooms, billets, slabs, refractories item at Sl.No. 12(a)(b)(c) shall not be allowed, however,<br />

in case of export of rolled produced out of continuous blooms item mentioned above i.e. rolls/Tunsten rings<br />

and refractories shall be allowed.<br />

Import of item at Sr.No. (9)(10)(12)(a)(b)(14)(15)&(18) shall not be permitted against export of<br />
