External Hoist (type extension): Theory 1 day, Flight training min. 2 hours
External Load: Theory 2 to 3 hours, Flight training min. 1 hour
Pilots to be trained must have a valid rating for the relevant helicopter type/variant.
The training course provides theoretical knowledge and practical skills and enables
pilots and operators to operate the related type of equipment by day in accordance
with official technical and operational documentation.
Flight training flown together with winch procedures qualified operator. They should
bring appropriate working clothes (incl. shoes, helmet and gloves) with them. Hoist
operation in mountainous area and/or over water only if allowed by local aviation
authority and on special request. For initial hoist operator qualification detailed
syllabi on request.

NFP: Theory 1 to 2 hours, Flight training min. 1 hour (only traffic pattern),
from October to March
DIF: Theory: 1 to 4 days*, Flight training 1 to 4 hours*,
*epending on differences
Pilots to be trained must have a valid rating for the relevant helicopter type.
The training course provides theoretical knowledge and practical skills and enables
pilots to operate by night or to operate the related variant of helicopter.
