BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH Beth Margaret Forrest was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in 1978. She received her Bachelor of Science in Geology in 2001 from McMaster University, in Hamilton, Ontario. She received her Masters of Science in 2003 from McMaster University, in Hamilton, Ontario. Her Bachelor’s research focused on the UV/VIS absorbance and transmittance of littoral zone sediment. The focus of her Masters research was the application of luminescence techniques to coastal studies at the St. Joseph Peninsula, Gulf County, Florida.
