Scholarship<br />
(up to $5,000 towards first-year tuition fees or<br />

The Dux <strong>of</strong> every secondary school in <strong>New</strong><br />
<strong>Zealand</strong> is eligible for this scholarship. The<br />
scholarship is payable towards the costs <strong>of</strong> a<br />
residential college or tuition fees for the first<br />
year <strong>of</strong> study <strong>at</strong> the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Otago</strong>.<br />

Mäori and Pacific Islands<br />
Entrance Scholarship<br />
(up to $10,000 towards first-year tuition fees<br />

Established by the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Otago</strong> to<br />
celebr<strong>at</strong>e academic excellence and cultural<br />
diversity, these scholarships are intended<br />
to encourage the progression <strong>of</strong> Mäori and<br />
Pacific Islands students into tertiary study.<br />

ability and who exhibit leadership potential to<br />

(up to $500 towards BCom tuition fees)<br />
For high school students from within <strong>Otago</strong> and<br />
Southland whose Young Enterprise Scheme (YES)<br />
company wins the annual <strong>Otago</strong> or Southland<br />
