Coming soon: Montana's
First CMN Dance Marathon
Shodair is excited to announce the first ever Children's
Miracle Network Dance Marathon is set for November 9, 2012 in
Bozeman. Students from Montana State University are hosting the event.
Every year, on more than 150 campuses
nationwide, college students come together to
make miracles happen for kids. The entirely
student-run program donates 100 % of the funds
they raise directly to the Children's Miracle Network hospital in their
community—in this case, Shodair Children's Hospital. Dance Marathon
has become a tradition on campuses across the country and in their
surrounding communities.
So what exactly is a Dance Marathon? It's primarily a year-long effort
to support CMN hospitals. Students spend the year raising funds in
a variety of ways, planning the main Dance Marathon event, and
interacting with their local children's hospital.
Montana's Dance Marathon will begin at 6:00 pm on November 9th
and end at 11:00 am the following morning. The students will stay
awake and on their feet the entire stretch of time to celebrate the total
amount of funds raised this year. The event involves dancing, games,
and live entertainment in a fun, high-energy, healthy environment.

Disney Delivers Magic
to Shodair Patients
Shodair Children’s Hospital was excited to be
the recipient of a 2012 Disney Hospital Care Package. Each spring,
this delivery is sent to the hospital's Foundation
Office to help brighten the lives of the children
and families in Shodair's care.
This multi-box shipment was filled with an array of
toys from Disney Stores, books from Disney publishing, premium Disney
DVD titles, and Club Penguin memberships. These items help provide
entertainment and normalcy during a child's stay at Shodair.

are busy gearing up for the
Children’s Miracle Network
Hospitals 2012 May is for
Miracles fundraising campaign.
For more than 20 years,
generous corporate partners,
media partners, and other
organizations have come
together annually to raise critical
funds for Children’s Miracle
Network hospitals like Shodair.
While fundraising efforts happen
throughout the year, there is a
great concentration each May as
dedicated Costco and Walmart
associates across the state sell the
familiar red and yellow paper
miracle balloons to raise money
that stays in Montana to help
provide much needed care for
Shodair’s patients.
