SOLEMNITY OF MARY, the <strong>Holy</strong> Mother <strong>of</strong> God on<br />

January 1 st is a holy day <strong>of</strong> obligation. Masses for the<br />

Solemnity <strong>of</strong> Mary will be Monday, December 31 st at 5:15<br />

p.m. and Tuesday, January 1 st at 7:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m., and<br />

10:30 a.m. Please note: there will be no 5:15 p.m. Mass<br />

on January 1 st .<br />

Youth Ministry continued<br />

THE ANNUAL ANDES SKI TRIP FOR 7TH-12TH GRADE is Monday, January 21 st . We will<br />

leave by bus from <strong>Holy</strong> Spirit <strong>Catholic</strong> <strong>Church</strong> at 8 a.m. and return at 8 p.m. Cost is $50 for<br />

skiing and $60 for snowboarding. If you have your own equipment, it is only $35. All<br />

snowboarders must wear a helmet. Lessons for beginners are available for $5 and chaperones can<br />

ski for free! Registrations/liability forms are available in the Gathering Space. <strong>The</strong> deadline to register is<br />

Wednesday, January 16 th . Talk to Camie for more information.<br />

BOWLING FOR 6TH-12TH GRADE SUNDAY, JANUARY 13 TH . Come and join other area <strong>Catholic</strong><br />

<strong>Church</strong>es in fellowship, food and bowling! We will meet at West Acres Bowl from 1:00-3:00 p.m. to hit some<br />

pins and have some fun! $15 per person and friends are welcome. Registration forms are available in the<br />

Have you read any <strong>of</strong> the 16 documents <strong>of</strong> Vatican II? Come find out just how important they are to the <strong>Church</strong><br />

today! You are invited to a presentation with Msgr. Paul Watson, retired Director <strong>of</strong> the Maryvale Higher<br />

Institute <strong>of</strong> Religious Sciences in Birmingham, England. Msgr. Paul Watson will be speaking on the "Four<br />

Primary Documents <strong>of</strong> the Second Vatican Council”. <strong>The</strong>re will be supper at 5:30 p.m. presentation 6:30-8:30<br />

THANK YOU: American Heritage Girls Troop ND0316 would like to thank <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Anthony</strong>’s <strong>Church</strong>,<br />

parishioners and area businesses for their generous support <strong>of</strong> our HUGS Duffle Bag Project. <strong>The</strong> girls reached<br />

their goal <strong>of</strong> filling 75 duffle bags for homeless children and 1 st Choice Clinic. We stuffed and delivered the<br />

bags on December 15 th to the agencies. Thank you again for your support and we look forward to growing the<br />

HUGS project in 2013.<br />

CONCERT: Fr. Kevin Boucher, Fr. Chris Markman and the staff <strong>of</strong> Nativity invite you to a Sacred Christmas<br />

Concert on January 13 th , 3:00 p.m. at Nativity <strong>Catholic</strong> <strong>Church</strong>. <strong>The</strong> concert will include music sung by the<br />

various choirs <strong>of</strong> Nativity and will conclude with a Hot Chocolate/Apple Cider social. Free will <strong>of</strong>fering will<br />

go towards a matching grant that has been donated for Nativity's building project.<br />

DID YOU KNOW that Fraser, Ltd.’s <strong>St</strong>epping <strong>St</strong>one Resource Center supported 754 at-risk and homeless<br />

youth this past year? Of those youth, 40% parented a child. When you make your year-end charitable donation,<br />

please consider a gift to Fraser, Ltd. Your financial assistance will help complete a 25 bed permanent<br />

supportive home for at-risk and homeless youth.
