FREE TRANSLATION<br />

Flowering spurge, spurge, viper's bugloss, and the other small<br />

flowering spurge; the other one (i. e., the first one) is also small.<br />

In this prescription we are given only the names of the plants used,<br />

four in number, viz, v^'st^AGa^h', Euphorhia corollata L., flowering<br />

spurge; u''st*AGa°li' ustr'oa, (?); u*'Gat'as=Gt*'sGi, Euphorbia hyperi-<br />

cifolia L., spurge; u'ntskoJi', Echium vulgare L., viper's bugloss,<br />

blueweed, blue devil.<br />

In severe cases gi-'g9 tsuya*'.i, Lysimachia quadrifolia L., loosestrife,<br />

is added to the prescription.<br />

Ay. explained that the roots are steeped in warm water and the<br />

infusion drunk. The infusion is kept warm near the fire.<br />
