For some ritualistic reason it is specified that the stones used must<br />

be white. In some cases a portion of the decoction is first drunk as<br />

an emetic. Ay. stated that the sickness is caused by tcsGO'^ya or<br />

insects, which were formerly parasites of snakes and are sent into the<br />

body of the patient in revenge for some offense given to those reptiles.<br />
