Applicable performance standards for generator sets include:<br />

Generator sets and other related products are sometimes Certified, Listed, or otherwise<br />
assured to be compliant to specific standards or codes. This generally applies to the<br />
product as manufactured and shipped from the original manufacturer. Often these<br />
products are labeled or in some way marked as such. Subsequent modifications to the<br />
product could alter or violate the specific code compliance or listing. Product<br />
modifications should be, and in some cases must be submitted to the local authority<br />
having jurisdiction for approval.<br />
