<strong>Retrofit</strong>ting competitors’ devices<br />

Medium voltage<br />

Medium-voltage devices can be replaced according to the retrofit or retrofil principle.<br />

In the case of medium-voltage devices manufactured by our competitors, the retrofil solution is the simplest<br />

<strong>and</strong> fastest method of replacing a customer’s equipment.<br />

We can renovate a customer’s original truck <strong>and</strong> fit it with a Schneider Electric device, circuit breaker or contactor.<br />

The power connection elements are either renovated or reconditioned.<br />

The devices are then tested for dielectric withst<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> overheating <strong>and</strong> undergo mechanical tests.<br />

Low voltage<br />

The retrofit principle can be used to replace low-voltage devices manufactured by our competitors.<br />

Both the device <strong>and</strong> its truck can be replaced with a complete Schneider Electric device <strong>and</strong><br />

the auxiliaries connections recreated.<br />

With the retrofit solution, as the devices have already been tested, only a power connection<br />

overheating test is carried out.<br />
