Senior Open 4 U.S. Senior Open Entries Open to any professional, or any amateur with a USGA Handicap Index® not exceeding 3.4, who turns 50 on or before July 12. Entries close May 23. Starting Field 156 players Schedule of Play • Thursday, July 12 — First round (18 holes) • Friday, July 13 — Second round (18 holes) After 36 holes, the field will be cut to the low 60 scorers and any ties for 60th place. • Saturday, July 14 — Third round (18 holes) • Sunday, July 15 — Fourth round (18 holes) Playoff In case of a tie after 72 holes, a 3-hole aggregate score playoff will immediately follow. If this playoff results in a tie, the tied players will immediately continue to play off hole-by-hole until the winner is determined. Sectional Qualifying 18 holes stroke play, scheduled at 34 sites, between June 14-28.
