Applications for
HOESCH 2607 Z-sections
with LARSSEN interlock.
The main applications are hydraulic engineering works for
onshore projects, e.g. quay walls, moles, dock structures
and ro-ro facilities. In addition, the HOESCH 2607 is suitable
for locks, weirs, inland ports, waterways and marinas.
It is also the ideal section for landfill sites, excavations or
bridge abutments.
Our new section is the perfect addition to the range of
products offered by ThyssenKrupp GfT Bautechnik. Our
catalogue therefore contains the right sheet pile sections
for virtually every application.
Sections and Sheet piling plant –
one-stop sourcing.
ThyssenKrupp GfT Bautechnik can also supply suitable
driving and extracting plant upon request. Our one-stopsourcing
philosophy can help you to cut your costs because
it allows you to optimise the deadlines and plant deployment
for your projects.
ThyssenKrupp GfT Bautechnik is one of the world's leading
suppliers of systems for port and specialist civil engineering.
With consultancy services, our own engineering offices for
preparing system solutions, plus spare parts and customer
services, ThyssenKrupp GfT Bautechnik is a competent
partner for developers, engineers and contractors.
We can provide all kinds of piles, plant and equipment, and
can also offer our customers an all-inclusive service: sales,
HOESCH 2607.
A new approach to economy.
ThyssenKrupp GfT Bautechnik
The new sheet pile section
with the BIG economic
benefits.
The ongoing technical developments concern-
ing sheet pile sections have resulted in a new
type of connection between the tried-and-
tested HOESCH sections with LARSSEN inter-
locks. The technical elegance and obvious
additional cost benefits cannot fail to impress.
HOESCH 2607
The new HOESCH 2607 sheet pile section is
a well-thought-out addition to our range of
products – with many obvious advantages:
The HOESCH 2607 is wider. That means you
need fewer sections and therefore less time
for installation. In addition, the new design
results in an extremely favourable relationship
between section modulus and weight.
The LARSSEN interlocks ensure less friction
and also speed up progress on site. Furthermore,
fewer seals are necessary and the
system is on the whole lighter. Higher cost
efficiency with better quality – we call that
technical progress.
One further important bonus of this new
development is the flexibility in terms of
engineering and applications. Connecting
HOESCH sections with LARSSEN interlocks
leads to a greater deviation angle but at the
same time greater interlock stability, and that
means it is also possible to attach LARSSEN
sections as well.
HOESCH 2607 – a new addition to the
range of Z-sections.
The off-centre interlock increases the section modulus
and hence the load-carrying capacity of the pile.
The interlock is located in the zone of minimum shear
force and therefore single piles can be used without
having to reduce the section modulus. A shear stress
analysis is unnecessary.
The interlocks can accommodate higher tensile forces,
which prevents declutching.
The generous width ensures fast driving progress.
The generous height of the section results in a more
stable pile and ensures less deflection.
