governments within the Village’s Wellington’s Utility Service area. Local governments<br />

receiving data shall be requested to provide a letter acknowledging and responding to<br />

the information provided by the Village Wellington. The verification of the provided<br />

information shall be incorporated into the Data and Analysis section of the<br />

Comprehensive Plan.<br />

Policy 1.7.2 The Village Wellington may pursue an Interlocal Service Boundary<br />

Agreement (ISBA) for provision of water service by the Village Wellington to Palm<br />

Beach County and the Village of Royal Palm Beach. The Village Wellington may also<br />

pursue an ISBA between the Village Wellington and the County for provision of water<br />

service by the County to areas within the Village Wellington that are not served by<br />

Village Wellington Utilities.<br />

Policy 1.7.3 The Village Wellington shall continue to work with the<br />

Intergovernmental Plan Amendment Review Committee (IPARC) to analyze, evaluate<br />

and share information that may further the goals of the Lower East Coast Water Supply<br />

Plan and the Village’s Wellington’s Work Plan.<br />

9J-5.0015 Objective and policy requirements not applicable to the Village of Wellington:<br />

Rule 9J-5 of the Florida Administrative Code requires communities to adopt as part of<br />

their Intergovernmental Coordination Element objectives and policies which address<br />

various issues, except where those issues are not reasonably applicable to a particular<br />

community. The following objective and policy provisions of Rule 9J-5 are deemed by<br />

the Village Wellington to be inapplicable:<br />

9J-5.015 (3) (b) 4 Ensure coordination in the designation of new dredge spoil<br />

disposal sites for counties and municipalities located in the coastal area.<br />

9J-5.015 (3) (c) 6 Management of bays, estuaries and harbors.<br />

9J-5.015 (3) (c) 8 Involving...[a variety of agencies and the public]...in providing<br />

for and identifying dredge spoil disposal sites through the Coastal Resources<br />

Interagency Management Committee’s dispute resolution process.<br />

9J-5.015 (3) (c) 9 Resolving conflicts between a coastal local government and a<br />

public agency seeking a dredge spoil disposal site through the Coastal<br />

Resources Interagency Management Committee’s dispute resolution process.<br />
