The maximum building coverage of Medical Commercial is proposed to be<br />

deleted. This allows the specific zoning district to regulate the building coverage<br />

permitted for a parcel with a Medical Commercial land use. The Floor Area Ratio<br />

(FAR) is more suitable for restricting commercial uses because it establishes a<br />

limit to height of the building versus square footage.<br />

To facilitate the development of the District, permitted uses have been expanded<br />

to provide ancillary uses including accessory retail, restaurants, medical office,<br />

dormitory, etc. The additional uses also are consistent with the Constrained<br />

Roadways at Lower Levels of Service (CRALLS) Ordinance adopted by Palm<br />

Beach County Board of County Commissioners.<br />
