2005 Annual Conference
International Ozone Association-Pan American Group
October 8-12, 2005, PineIsle Resort, Lake Lanier, Georgia, USA
On October 8-12, 2005 the IOA Pan American Group (PAG) will be holding its 2005 Annual
Conference titled “Ozone: A valuable tool for a wide range of applications”. The conference will be
held at the Renaissance PineIsle Resort, Lake Lanier Islands, GA. The resort is located 52 miles
northeast of the Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport. Neal Spivey of the Gwinnett County, GA
water district is the conference chair.
Technical Sessions
The conference is intended to provide information to
engineers, scientists, and end users of ozone and
other active oxygen species. Topics can include, but
not be limited to:
Disinfection
Cooling Tower Applications
Chemical and Biochemical Reactions
Food and Agricultural Applications
Biofiltration
Spa/Pool/Aquarium
Bromate Formation and Control
Industrial Applications
Ozone Generation
Waste Water Treatment
Contactor Design
Advanced Oxidation
Small Systems
Emerging Issues in Water Quality
Exhibition
Like past conferences, an equipment exhibition will occur. The conference is being planned to
maximize traffic throughout the Exhibit Hall, including holding coffee breaks in the Exhibit hall and
hosting a complimentary “Attitude Adjustment Hour” on Monday evening within the Exhibit Hall
at the close of the Technical Sessions. Coffee break times will be extended to allow greater
opportunity for attendees to visit the Exhibition throughout the conference.
