- Organic Photovoltaics (OPV) can be a viable source of low cost renewable energy for on-grid deployment, provided challenges related to device efficiency and lifetime
can be overcome.
- While the technology is still nascent, it lends itself very well to niche applications such as Energy Harvesting (EH) under indoor lighting conditions.
- Plexcore® PV 2100 ink system is Plextronics first generation ink uniquely suited for indoor EH applications and performance data comparing the indoor power
densities for this and other viable technologies will be presented.
