The focus of her art is the personal characteristics of individuals, who inspire her to create traditional portraits in oils, watercolour or graphite. Wendy-Jane is a registered teacher of the Michael Wilcox School of Colour UK, and tutors individuals and groups on colour mixing, drawing and painting. Kerryl Shirley painter Kerryl trained at the South Australia School of Art, Underdale, where she majored in painting. She has worked in a range of other mediums but always returns to painting, where her passion lies. Kerryl works on paper and canvas, sometimes in oil and ink, with recent works executed in acrylic. Her work is in public and private collections in Australia and overseas.
