14 Mim Kocher Sculptor, painter, mixed media Mim’s main love is creating small sculptures using recycled bases, modelling medium, engraving tools, ceramics and acrylic paints. She is always a bit sad when parting with them as they evolve into such little characters. Mim also paints on canvas using acrylic paint, oils and inks. She paints on calico bags and loves the thought of people walking around carrying her artwork on their arm. After working Healesville as an art teacher and art consultant for Oval many years Mim loves the freedom of experimenting with a variety of media. David Lloyd painter David describes his work as figurative illustration which finds its inspiration in perspectives of the human journey. A lover of stories old and new, he has begun combining the elements of caricature, mixed with a sombre mood and figments of his own personal journey, both awake and asleep. David likes the diversity oil painting allows and the layering of colours and symbology his subject matter requires. He hopes viewers can see a little of their own journey in his pictures.
