OMV Austria<br />
In 2005, the petrochemical company OMV Austria urgently needed a new set<br />
of Inlet Guide Vanes (IGVs) for their facility in Aderklaa, Tyrol. We were able <strong>to</strong><br />
respond <strong>to</strong> the situation immediately, with our team at <strong>Atlas</strong> <strong>Copco</strong> Mafi-Trench<br />
in the US quickly producing a set of IGVs from archived manufacturing drawings.<br />
The parts were shipped <strong>to</strong> Austria within a week. According <strong>to</strong> the cus<strong>to</strong>mer,<br />
the speed of our response was a major advantage for their operations.<br />

Akzo Nobel<br />
In 2005, our long-time cus<strong>to</strong>mer Akzo<br />
Nobel wanted <strong>to</strong> enhance the capacity<br />
of their ethylene oxide plant in Stenungsund,<br />
Sweden. Since space limitations<br />
on site did not allow for adding new<br />
buildings, our service experts suggested<br />
revamping one of the plant’s crucial<br />
components: a GT040 <strong>Atlas</strong> <strong>Copco</strong><br />
steam compressor. It was a viable and<br />
efficient solution from an experienced<br />
partner, said Akzo Nobel project manager<br />
