16 Multicluster Operation<br />

16.1 Communication between the <strong>Sun</strong>ny Island<br />

For increased output, up to 12 <strong>Sun</strong>ny Island clusters can be interconnected to form a Multicluster<br />

system. Within each cluster, a communication cable connects the master to the slaves. Each cluster is<br />

connected to the others via another communication cable, connected to the respective master.<br />

The Multicluster Piggy-Back (MC-PB) is inserted in the <strong>Sun</strong>ny Island at the external communication<br />

socket. A grounding conductor is provided with the Multicluster Piggy-Back. It must be connected as<br />

displayed in the graphic.<br />
