nominated account means the account referred to in clause 10.1.<br />
nominated card means a type of credit card or debit card as the case may be, details of<br />
which are identifi ed as “nominated cards” in the letter of offer.<br />
non-standard card means a type of card (if any) that is accepted by your equipment but is<br />
not a nominated card.<br />
notice means any notice, request, consent or any other communication in connection with<br />
this <strong>agreement</strong>.<br />
password means the password which we issue you with so that you can participate in the<br />
authentication procedures and includes any later password which is substituted for the<br />
original one issued by us.<br />
person includes an individual, fi rm, body corporate, unincorporated body or association,<br />
partnership, joint venture and any government agency or authority.<br />
personal information has the meaning given to that term in the privacy law.<br />
personnel means your employees, agents, advisers, auditors, consultants or contractors.<br />
point of sale transaction is a transaction where the card, cardholder, and you, are all<br />
physically present at the time of the transaction.<br />
pin means the personal identifi cation number allocated by us or personally selected by the<br />
account holder.<br />
PPSA means the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 (Cth) and any regulations made<br />
pursuant to it and the following words have the respective meanings given to them in the<br />
PPSA: fi nancing statement, fi nancing change statement and security interest.<br />
pre-authorisation means that a transaction that is to be processed at a later time has been<br />
authorised up to the value of the proposed transaction.<br />
pre-authorisation receipt means a document used to evidence pre-authorisation.<br />
privacy law means all legislation and principles and industry codes or policies, relating to<br />
the collection, use, disclosure, storage and granting of access rights to personal information.<br />
recurring transactions means multiple transactions processed at predetermined intervals,<br />
not to exceed one year between transactions, representing an <strong>agreement</strong> between a<br />
cardholder and a <strong>merchant</strong> to purchase goods or services over a period of time.<br />
related body corporate has the meaning given to it in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).<br />
