Further developments include:
• schemes with the South West London Transport
Advisory Committee for improved interchanges at West
Croydon,Twickenham and Wimbledon and a number of
smaller projects, and early progress is expected on many
of these.
• similar discussions with the South East London Transport
Strategy partnership concerning improved interchange at
Catford and with West London Leadership concerning
improved interchange at Harrow and Wealdstone.
• proposals from train operators and London
Underground to introduce consistent standards for
interchange on the London network.
• a property scheme to help provide enhanced
interchange at West Hampstead between the Thameslink
and NLL stations.
• our Route Strategies envisage major upgrades to many
of our main line radial corridors serving London.Full
details are contained in the appropriate pages of this
document but include the ECML (Route 1),the Great
Western Main Line (GWML) (Route 1) and the West
Anglia Main Line (Route 15).
