Attached for your information .and comment is a summary of TOIL statistics from 2008 and 2010 for a sample of
Executive and Non-executive staff.
The figures compare the accumulation of TOIL in an election year (2008) compared with a non-election year (2010),
in accordance with the undertaking given at the last LAMS negotiation meeting on 29 October.
The main observations are that the figures for this sample of staff do not support the contention that staff work
significantly more hours in an election year (see footnote 3), and that the majority of the employees had TOIL
credits of less than 60 hours including during the 2008 election year (see footnote 4).
